SALISBURY — Board of Selectmen approves three special event permits and property transfers. The board unanimously approved the Beach Blast cornhole tournament for August 1 and the Salisbury Rail Trail Road Race for September 19, and licensed the Nigro-Moreno wedding on June 20; the Lumos Candlelight Concert liquor license was tabled. The board also unanimously voted to approve a National Grid easement at 39 Lafayette Road and ratified a land swap with F&D Realty LLC involving parcels off Elm Street, with the town conveying 3.1824 acres for $20,000 and accepting 13.1 acres for sewer purposes.
SCTV Director Chris Donnellan reported Comcast revenue fell 14 percent year-over-year, forcing the decision not to refill an operations manager position.
