Cultural Council approves prior minutes, plans summer workshops.

Cultural Council · Meeting of May 7, 2026

Salisbury Cultural Council approved prior minutes and reviewed summer events at its May 7 meeting. Chairwoman Darci Cepiel convened six members present at the Salisbury Library; the council's treasury held $9,356.18. A jewelry workshop hosted by Ashleigh Litcofsky on May 9 has drawn 19 signups, while Bonnie Griffith will host Kids Day at the Beach on July 21 with crafts including beaded necklaces and seashell painting.

The council reused 2025 Trunk or Treat decorations for this year's fortune teller theme and allocated $100 for scarecrow decoration. Mary Whitmore and Cheri Chaisson plan to seek reappointment for the 2026–2029 term.
