SALISBURY — Harbor Commission unanimously backs software fee and training spending. Harbormaster Willem van de Stadt reported incoming customer calls on moorings and wait-list information, plus ongoing coordination with RiverFront Marine for spring service, radar, and GPS quotes. The commission unanimously approved a seven-dollar service fee on mooring and dockage customers to offset new software system costs, and authorized up to nine hundred dollars for CPR recertification training set for February 25.
Commission member Mike Tennis is coordinating dock replacement with Whittier Tech, with one dock requiring immediate replacement and three others needing work but able to wait; a February vacation delay was noted with contingency for in-house completion.
