Parks and Recreation Commission · Meeting of January 8, 2026
SALISBURY — Parks and Recreation Commission restricts public use of concession trailer. The Salisbury body voted unanimously to prohibit outside groups from using the trailer absent Parks and Recreation sponsorship, citing Board of Health permit requirements, Certificates of Insurance, and additional coverage necessary to protect the equipment. Laura Janvrin and Vincent Russo of SYSBL presented enrollment and program updates, with Janvrin emphasizing sponsorship efforts to offset team, uniform, and field costs for all youth.
The Commission unanimously accepted the Income and Expense report and reviewed equipment catalogs for adult fitness stations along the Rail Trail and a proposed disc golf course at Partridge Brook Park.
