Salisbury Planning Board continues major storage facility hearing, reviews cannabis odor plan. The board unanimously voted to continue the public hearing on Boston North Development LLC's proposed four-building, 37-unit storage facility at 154 Lafayette Road to January 28, 2026. Root and Bloom presented an odor mitigation plan led by George Haseltine and engineer Erik Gath, committing to replace expired carbon filters, conduct a full system analysis, and implement monitoring within 120 days; Health Director Leslie Whelan endorsed the amended standard operating procedure.
The board also heard an update on the 46 Beach/2 Gravel Way project, where applicant Joe Neipp sought approval to demolish and rebuild the front house using new materials while maintaining neighborhood character.
