Salisbury Board of Selectmen unanimously approved vendor licenses and seven community event permits for summer 2026. Chairman Donna Abdulla, Selectman Gil Medeiros, and Selectman Wendy Kimball cleared applications for Route 110 Roast Beef & Pizza, Sweet Management LLC car wash, and approved one-day special liquor licenses for Riverfest, Tortoise and the Hare, and Salisbury Days events. The board unanimously approved a $950,000 Community Development Block Grant application allocating $111,000 for social services, $200,000 for neighborhood improvements, and $368,000 for housing rehabilitation.
Finance Director Karen Snow reported local receipts up approximately $386,000 this fiscal year, though water emergency repairs and utility costs may require supplemental appropriations. The board also authorized Chairman Abdulla to appoint a committee to negotiate a contract extension with Town Manager Neil J. Harrington.
